Established in 1985 by Gerald Gregory who has been involved with the wine trade since 1978, acting in Sales, Vineyard Consultancy and Wine Buying for a commodity Trading company specialising in supplying U.K. supermarkets, Parfrements has now established itself as the premier direct wine supplier in the Midlands.

At the beginning of the eighties he commenced Wine Trade examinations. Through these he won travelling scholarships to Hungary, Portugal, Spain and France to study the geography, history, viticulture and both modern and traditional vinification techniques employed in the production of Tokay, Port, Sherry and light wines. In 1988 he joined the Master of Wine Revision course.

As well as lecturing extensively throughout England, Gerald regularly conducts both vertical, horizontal and simple educational tutored tastings for social and charitable groups.
